Family Konnect

About us

We are a safety-focused team dedicated to bridging the gap between court requirements and meaningful family connection; without the waitlists.

A Space for Meaningful Connection

"At the heart of Family Konnect is a simple belief: that every child deserves the chance to know their parent in a safe, supportive environment. Having worked in this sector for over 20 years, I founded Family Konnect to move away from cold, impersonal processes and offer something truly child-focused and compassionate. We provide the safety required by the courts, but with the personal touch families deserve, allowing you to relax and focus purely on connecting with your kids. We are dedicated to providing 'Nurturing Spaces, Stronger Bonds', helping your family move forward with dignity."

Silvia, Founder

At Family Konnect, our mission is to provide safe, child-centred supervision that nurtures the bond between children and parents. We create respectful, neutral environments where children feel secure and valued, and where meaningful connections can grow. Every interaction is guided by our belief that a child’s well-being and right to safe, positive relationships are at the heart of what we do.”

Expertise Across the Spectrum

We have curated a multidisciplinary team skilled in both child protection and aged care, ensuring your family is supported by true professionals.

Safety Without Compromise
We never take shortcuts with your child’s safety. Every team member holds a current Working with Children Check (WWCC), National Police Clearance, and relevant screening checks, so you can have total peace of mind about who is facilitating your time.

Qualified to Support
You are supported by real expertise. Our team is qualified across the community services sector—from Social Work and Youth Work to Individual Support—giving us the skills to manage complex family dynamics with professionalism and care.

Hired for Character
Qualifications are essential, but character is non-negotiable. We look for staff who bring genuine empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude to every shift, ensuring that parents feel respected and children feel comfortable.

Trauma-Informed Approach
We understand that families using our service are often going through difficult times. Our staff are trained to recognise and manage big emotions safely, using de-escalation techniques that prioritize the child's emotional well-being over strict rule-enforcement.

The Heart of What We Do

Our core purpose is to provide a strictly neutral, professionally managed safety net for families in transition. We believe that every child deserves the right to maintain a relationship with their parents in a conflict-free setting, which is why we combine rigorous safety protocols with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to supervision and support.
