Supervised Contact Visits

A supervised visit allows a child to spend time with a parent or family member in a safe, neutral environment while being observed by a trained supervisor. The focus is on supporting positive interactions while ensuring the child's wellbeing at all times.

Supervised Changeovers

Supervised changeovers provide a safe and neutral handover point between parents or carers, reducing conflict and stress for the child. A staff member is present to manage the exchange and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Supervised Transport

Supervised transport involves safely transporting children to and from visits or changeovers with a trusted, trained staff member. This service supports families who need reliable logistics during sensitive times.

Respite Care

Our respite service offers short-term care for children, giving parents or carers a much-needed break. It’s a supportive, safe option designed to help families recharge and maintain balance.

  • What is contact supervision?
Contact supervision is a service where a trained, neutral professional oversees visits between a child and a parent to ensure the child’s safety and wellbeing. It is often required under court orders but can also be arranged voluntarily. The supervisor documents the visit and supports a safe, child-focused environment.
  • Who can request contact supervision?
Contact supervision can be requested by the Family Court, Children’s Court, the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ), or non-government organisations (NGOs). Parents or carers may also organise supervision privately when safety or conflict is a concern. We work closely with both court-ordered and private referrals.
  • Where do supervised visits take place?
Supervised visits can take place in community settings such as parks, play centres, or agreed-upon locations that are safe and suitable for the child. The location is chosen based on the needs of the child and any court requirements. We aim to create a calm and neutral environment to support the parent-child relationship.
  • What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made by 10 a.m. the day before a weekday service and by 10 a.m. Friday for any weekend service. Cancellations made after this time will be charged in full, as staff and resources are already committed. Exceptions may be considered in cases of genuine emergency or exceptional circumstances.
  • How long does the visit report take to be written?
Visit reports are typically completed and delivered within three business days. We understand the importance of timely documentation for case management and court processes. If an urgent report is required, please contact us in advance to discuss availability.
  • Where can I find relevant professional resources?
You can access useful links, policies, and referral information on our Resources page on the website. This includes materials for parents, carers, legal professionals, and caseworkers. If you're unsure what you need, feel free to contact us directly for guidance.
