Supervised Contact Visits

A supervised visit allows a child to spend time with a parent or family member in a safe, neutral environment while being observed by a trained supervisor. The focus is on supporting positive interactions while ensuring the child's wellbeing at all times.

Supervised Changeovers

Supervised changeovers provide a safe and neutral handover point between parents or carers, reducing conflict and stress for the child. A staff member is present to manage the exchange and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Supervised Transport

Supervised transport involves safely transporting children to and from visits or changeovers with a trusted, trained staff member. This service supports families who need reliable logistics during sensitive times.

Respite Care

Our respite service offers short-term care for children, giving parents or carers a much-needed break. It’s a supportive, safe option designed to help families recharge and maintain balance.

1. Initial Contact

Both parties are required to complete and sign the referral form, attaching all relevant court documents (e.g. court orders, AVOs). Ideally, the same form is signed by both parents to confirm agreement on the planned arrangement and visit conditions. Incomplete referrals cannot be processed, so please ensure all documents are submitted together.

2. Intake Assessment

Once referral forms are received, we schedule separate intake and risk assessment interviews with each parent. These interviews are confidential, and no personal information about the other parent is disclosed. Safety concerns are thoroughly explored, and we assess each parent’s ability to engage in safe and respectful communication. If suitable, all parties receive a Service Agreement outlining session costs and expectations, which must be signed before contact can begin. Payment is required from the responsible party prior to services commencing. At this stage, a child familiarisation session may also be recommended or requested.

3. Supervised Family Visits

Once intake is complete and the Service Agreement is in place, supervised contact sessions begin. Visits continue on an ongoing basis, provided both parties comply with the agreement and the arrangements remain in the child’s best interest.

4. Reports and Feedback

After each visit, a detailed contact report is prepared by the supervising staff. Reports are emailed to the appropriate parties within 3–5 business days. Ongoing visitation is reviewed based on progress, adherence to the Service Agreement, and guidance from the referring party or organisation.
